Garden Grove Tree Service for Long Beach

Long Beach

Long Beach is a very large city in southernmost Los Angeles County.  It was incorporated as a city in 1897 and has one of the largest commercial shipping ports in the entire world. The port of LA has over $100 billion in imports and exports flow through it's shipping customers. It employs over 370,000 people and is the second-largest port in the US next to the port of Los Angeles. Over 468,000 people live in the city. There are numerous points of interest such as The Queen Mary, The Aquarium of the Pacific, host to The Long Beach Grand Prix, and The Long Beach Marathon. A California State University, Cal State University Long Beach is also located there. Long Beach also has its own airport within its city limits as well as numerous light and heavy rail systems supplying The Port.

Long Beach's financial base has changed throughout the years.  Oil exploration created an oil boom and it was a Navy town for a long time before the base closed, long before the aerospace industry became the driving economic force for the area.  McDonnell Douglas and now part of Boeing had plants at the Long Beach Airport where they manufactured airplanes for World War II, and later constructed DC-8s, DC-9s, DC-10s, and MD-11s. Boeing assembled the Boeing 717 until 2006 and the C-17 Globemaster III vital airlift plant is booked to close.  Even with the closings, Boeing is still the biggest private employer in the city. Another large employer, Polar Air Cargo, is a worldwide cargo carrier that was previously situated in the city.  Finally, TABC, Inc., a subsidiary of Toyota, makes an assortment of vehicle parts.

If you're a Long Beach resident or business owner, let Garden Grove Tree Service take care of any kind of arborist services you may need.
